I am a qualified and experienced HR Professional with over 12 years HR experience gained in the UK and Australia. I began my HR career straight out of University with a HR role at King’s College London in the UK, gaining valuable HR skills and knowledge during my 5 years there and thus the start of a successful career in HR. I moved to Australia at the beginning of 2012, initially spending 1.5 years carrying out a HR role in Sydney before finally settling in Perth with my family to continue my HR career.

As an experienced Internal Recruiter in the Education, Mining and Retail industries, it is the core function of my role to advertise positions and shortlist applicants. Shortlists are drawn up from reviewing cover letters and resumes and looking for candidates that have the right experience. As it is my role to carry out initial shortlists, over the years, I have become more conversant on the kind of resume you need to ensure someone actually picks it up and reads it. Of course, the resume is only the first step to you successfully landing that new role, the interview stage is your time to shine and show your potential new employer that you are the right fit for the organisation.
